Article 1 (Purpose)

These Terms govern the conditions and procedures for using MyHomeVetAI, Vetory, and related services (collectively, the “Service”) provided by MyHomeVetAI Co., Ltd. (the “Company”), and set out the rights, obligations, and responsibilities of the Company and Members.

Article 2 (Definitions)

  1. Member: An individual aged 18 or older who agrees to these Terms, registers using a supported social account, and uses the Service.
  2. General Consultation: An AI-based informational feature used without selecting a particular pet.
  3. Pet-Specific Consultation: An AI-based informational feature that may reference the selected pet's profile, confirmed Veterinary Medical Records, and relevant consultation history.
  4. Member Content: Questions, responses, photos, PDFs, pet information, Veterinary Medical Records, and other materials entered or uploaded by a Member.
  5. Veterinary Medical Records: Pet-health records entered directly by a Member or extracted from an uploaded document and confirmed by the Member, including visit dates, hospital names, diagnoses, treatments, prescriptions, and test results.
  6. Processed Information: Information generated by AI or document-processing technology by analyzing, summarizing, or structuring Member Content or Veterinary Medical Records.
  7. AI-Generated Output: Consultation responses, summaries, extracted values, predictions, guidance, and citations produced by automated systems, including external AI and search technology.

Article 3 (Eligibility and Account Registration)

  1. Only individuals aged 18 or older may register for and use the Service. A Member must confirm that they are at least 18 during registration.
  2. Registration and sign-in may use accounts from supported identity providers, including Kakao, Google, and Apple. Features may be limited by a provider's availability or policies.
  3. Members must provide accurate information and protect their account access methods. The Company may restrict or terminate use if age or account information is misrepresented.
  4. A Member must not share an account with another person or use another person's account.

Article 4 (Effectiveness and Amendment of Terms)

  1. These Terms take effect when posted in the Service or on the Company's website and accepted by the Member.
  2. The Company may amend these Terms to reflect changes in law or the Service and will ordinarily provide notice of the changes and effective date at least 30 days in advance.
  3. The Company may request renewed consent for a material adverse change or when required by law.
  4. A Member who does not agree to amended Terms may stop using the Service and withdraw the account.

Article 5 (Service Features)

Depending on operating conditions and the Member's device and region, the Company may provide all or part of the following:

  1. AI-based general pet consultations and pet-specific consultations;
  2. pet registration, selection, and management, including weight and other health information;
  3. photo and PDF attachments, document extraction, and Member-confirmed creation, editing, and deletion of Veterinary Medical Records;
  4. saving, continuing, archiving, restoring, and deleting consultation history;
  5. information and citations based on Member-confirmed records and veterinary reference materials;
  6. nearby veterinary-hospital search using location or a manually entered area, with phone and map links;
  7. follow-up, medication, and other reminders and device notifications; and
  8. other pet-health management features separately announced by the Company.

As of the effective date of V3.0, direct record transfer from partner veterinary hospitals, pet-insurance enrollment or claims integration, and recurring free tokens are not standard Service features. The Company will provide separate terms, consent, and notice before launching any such feature.

Article 6 (AI Consultations and Supporting Information)

  1. The Company may use contracted cloud AI, document-processing, and search services to generate consultation responses and analyze documents.
  2. General Consultations do not use a particular pet's Veterinary Medical Records. Pet-Specific Consultations may use only information for the selected pet that the Member is authorized to access, together with relevant consultation history.
  3. The Company may search veterinary references and Member records to provide supporting information, but search results and citations do not guarantee accuracy, completeness, or applicability to a particular pet.
  4. Without separate consent, the Company does not use Member consultations, Veterinary Medical Records, or attachments to train or fine-tune general-purpose external AI models. Temporary input processing, retrieval indexing, and Member-specific memory used to provide the Service are distinct from model training.
  5. The same or similar question may produce different responses, and the same or similar language may be provided to different users.

Article 7 (Medical Notice and Emergencies)

⚕️ Important Medical Notice

The Service does not replace examination, diagnosis, prescription, or treatment by a veterinarian and is neither telemedicine nor an emergency-response service. If a pet has difficulty breathing, loss of consciousness, seizures, severe bleeding, suspected poisoning, or any worsening or urgent condition, do not wait for an AI response; immediately contact a nearby veterinary hospital or emergency provider.

  1. AI-Generated Output is for reference only. Members must consult a licensed veterinarian regarding actual diagnosis, medication, and treatment decisions.
  2. A failure by the Service to identify a possible emergency must not be interpreted as confirmation that a condition is safe.
  3. Members must not administer human medication or medication intended for another animal without veterinary direction and must consult a veterinarian before changing an existing prescription.

Article 8 (Attachments and Confirmation of Veterinary Medical Records)

  1. Members may upload only materials concerning pets they are lawfully authorized to manage. If materials include a third party's personal information or copyrighted content, the Member must obtain all necessary rights and consent.
  2. Automatically extracted content from a photo or PDF is candidate information that may contain errors, omissions, or misrecognition. It becomes a confirmed Veterinary Medical Record only after the Member reviews or corrects it.
  3. If an original document issued by a veterinary hospital differs from a Member-confirmed record or Processed Information, the original document controls.
  4. Members may access, edit, and delete saved Veterinary Medical Records. Deleting a record also deletes its retrieval index and related reminders, but an original attachment is separate and might not be deleted automatically.

Article 9 (Consultation History, Pets, and Data Deletion)

  1. Consultation content may be saved to continue a conversation and provide relevant prior context. Members may archive or restore consultations. Deleting a consultation also deletes its messages, cards, and retrieval memory.
  2. Removing a pet from the list deactivates and hides the pet from the selection list. It does not automatically delete linked Veterinary Medical Records or previous consultations.
  3. Account withdrawal requires reauthentication using the same social account. Once completed, the account, pets, Veterinary Medical Records, consultations, consent records, notifications, attachments, and authentication identity are deleted without a recovery period. Information subject to a legal retention duty may be retained only for the required scope and period.
  4. The Service interface and Privacy Policy provide further details about individual deletion and account withdrawal.

Article 10 (Location and Veterinary-Hospital Search)

  1. Hospital search using current location is available only after separate acceptance of the Location-Based Service Terms and permission through the device. A Member may instead enter an area or address manually.
  2. Device coordinates are discarded after processing the nearby-hospital request and are not retained as coordinates in consultation or pet records. An area expression entered by the Member may remain in consultation history.
  3. Hospital information is based on names, addresses, phone numbers, distances, and links supplied by an external place-information provider. Search results do not represent medical suitability, specialization, current operating status, or a recommendation ranking.
  4. Before visiting, Members should contact the hospital to confirm opening hours, availability, specialty, and fees.

Article 11 (Reminders and Notifications)

  1. Reminders and push notifications are convenience features based on Member-confirmed records or information configured by the Member.
  2. Notifications may be delayed or not delivered due to device settings, network conditions, operating-system policies, time zones, or Service outages.
  3. A notification is not medical monitoring or confirmation of an appointment. Members remain responsible for independently tracking important visits and medication schedules.

Article 12 (Fees and Refunds)

  1. The Company may distinguish between free and future paid features. Before payment, it will disclose the price, term, automatic-renewal status, and refund conditions.
  2. Unused portions of previously purchased vouchers may be canceled or refunded during their validity period in accordance with applicable law and the conditions disclosed at purchase.
  3. If subscription products are offered, Members may request cancellation or withdrawal in accordance with applicable law and the payment-screen terms.
  4. Complimentary promotional benefits are not redeemable for cash. If the Company fails to provide a paid service for reasons attributable to it, it will provide a refund or compensation as required by law.

Article 13 (Member Obligations)

  1. Members must comply with applicable law, these Terms, Service guidance, and the rights of others.
  2. Members must not register false records, upload another person's information without authority, interfere with the Service, use abnormal automated access, bypass security, use results unlawfully, or use AI to cause harm.
  3. Members must not present AI-Generated Output as a veterinarian's diagnosis or otherwise use it in a misleading manner.
  4. A Member is responsible, to the extent attributable to that Member, for loss caused to the Company or a third party by the Member's breach.

Article 14 (Intellectual Property and AI-Generated Output)

  1. Rights in the Service software, interface, trademarks, compilations, and Company-created content belong to the Company or the applicable rightsholder.
  2. Rights in Member Content and original Veterinary Medical Records remain with the Member or applicable rightsholder. The Member authorizes the Company to process them to the extent necessary to provide, secure, back up, and improve Service functionality.
  3. To the extent permitted by law, Members may use AI-Generated Output provided to them, but the Company does not guarantee originality, non-infringement, or exclusive rights in that output.

Article 15 (Privacy and External Services)

  1. The Company processes Personal Information and Member Content under its Privacy Policy and applies technical and administrative safeguards.
  2. The Company may use external providers for authentication, data storage, AI processing, document extraction, search, maps and place information, and notifications. The Privacy Policy identifies applicable processors, cross-border transfers, and retention periods.
  3. External links, maps, phone functions, and social identity providers may be governed by their own terms and policies.

Article 16 (Service Changes, Suspension, and Restrictions)

  1. The Company may modify or suspend all or part of the Service for operational, security, technical, or legal reasons and will provide advance notice of material changes. Emergency security responses and force majeure events may be announced afterward.
  2. The Company may restrict use or terminate an agreement if a Member violates these Terms or applicable law or threatens the safety of the Service or others.
  3. Features may be temporarily limited by outages or changes affecting external AI, authentication, maps, cloud, or communication services.

Article 17 (Limitation of Liability)

  1. The Company is not liable for loss caused without its intent or negligence by force majeure, communication failure, cyberattack, external-service outage, or a Member's device or network.
  2. The Company does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or currency of AI-Generated Output, automatically extracted values, Member input, source records from veterinary hospitals, or external place information.
  3. Any limitation of liability applies only to the extent permitted by law and does not apply to the Company's willful misconduct, gross negligence, or liability that cannot legally be limited.

Article 18 (Governing Law, Disputes, and Effective Date)

  1. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. If mandatory consumer-protection law in a Member's place of residence applies, nothing in these Terms limits rights under that law.
  2. The Company and Member will first attempt to resolve disputes through consultation. If unresolved, the Seoul Central District Court will have jurisdiction as the court of first instance, subject to any mandatory jurisdiction required by applicable law.
  3. V3.0 takes effect on August 23, 2026. V2.0 applies until the day before this effective date.
